Vittorio Missoni still not found

Reports surfaced yesterday that the floating body found off the coast of Venezuela is fashion designer Vittorio Missoni. Moments later, it was discovered that it was in fact not his body. ContactMusic.com reported on Jan. 10 that the fashion designer is still missing.

News broke the corpse was indeed the fashion designer. The body was in the "early stages of decomposition." After a close investigation, it turned out to be the body of a fisherman.

There have been over 400 air and rescue people looking for the body of Vittorio. So far, their search has not found any supporting evidence. The Missoni crew and plane is still missing.

He and his crew of six passengers are now assumed dead. The search for the wreckage and the passengers continue. Authorities are hoping to get some answers.

Vittorio Missoni went missing on Saturday, Jan. 5. The small plane is presumed to have either crashed or been hijacked. There were a total of six people, including two crewmembers and four passengers. The 58-year-old was traveling with his wife and brother to Los Roques.
