Vitamin D lowers your diabetes risk

It’s a new year and one of your goals should be to make sure your getting plenty of Vitamin D. Did you know that vitamin D deficiency is now a global epidemic? An estimated 1 billion people do not have sufficient vitamin D levels. If you have a vitamin D deficiency you’re 91% more likely to have insulin resistance and your risk of getting type 2 diabetes doubles. This is not good news at all.
