Visitors to Baldwin Park Shelter ignore friendly six year old German shepherd

See also

The Baldwin Park Shelter is desperately looking for adopters and rescues to help find homes for the most amazing and adoptable dogs and cats. Highlighted today is a most beautiful and friendly German shepherd named Holly.

Although this six-year-old gorgeous female black and brown sweetheart tries her best to make eye contact with the families who visit the shelter, no one stops and pets her, and no one has promised to take her home. Her sad brown eyes reflect her rejection.

In a "Leave No Paws Behind" program, it is tragic to realize the Baldwin Park Shelter is once again overcrowded with as many as four and five dogs having to share a kennel space. In January, the shelter celebrated the lowest number of pets euthanized in the history of the shelter.

Holly's story has been shared nearly 800 times, but there have been few pledges and no adoption offers. You can share Holly's Facebook page by clicking here.

Holly can also be found on PetHarbor as A4671857 by clicking here for the link.
