If you're visiting the beautiful island of Bermuda, Tobacco Bay is a small but stunning beach that should not be missed. It is located in St. George, and is just a short walk away from the main area where the St. George ferry drops you off. The walk is easy, straight foward, and less than a mile away.
Once you get there you have a number of options. You can set up a spot in the sand simply to enjoy the sun and the beach itself, or you can go for a swim in the warm, sparkling water. Tobacco Bay also rents snorkeling equipment, and the snorkeling can be very good there with a variety of fish and coral. The waters are clear and shallow.
It can get crowded at times due to the small size, especially when there are multiple cruise ships docked in Bermuda. There are also bathrooms, a placed to get changed, and a small beach bar where you can grab a bite to eat or a drink.
Tobacco Bay Beach is one of the most beautiful areas in all of Bermuda, and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in St. George.
