On Sat., Apr. 24, the Hyde Park Alliance for Arts & Culture (HyPa) held an event at the Little Black Pearl Art and Design Center. The event showcased Little Black Pearl artists, and flutist Nicole Mitchell premiered a taste of the "Intergalactic Beings" upcoming performance.
Guests who visited Little Black Pearl, located at 1060 E. 47th St., in Bronzeville, checked out the artwork and enjoyed refreshments at the café.
Little Black Pearl is over 10 years old and provides art, culture and entrepreneurship to adults and children. The Kenwood/Oakland location is 40,000 square feet. Outside of artwork, classes and youth events, Little Black Pearl also has clothing and literature for sale.
