This weekend, November 9-11, will a great time to visit a national park because they will all be free to enter! In honor of Veterans Day, the National Park Service will waive entrance fees at every national park. As the NPS explained in this press release:

All 401 national park units across America will offer free admission on Veterans Day weekend, November 9-11. This relatively simple—yet meaningful—gesture is extended to show our appreciation for the service and sacrifice of military personnel, both active and retired.

This will be a great weekend to visit NPS battlefields and historic sites that honor America's veterans and get outdoors in America's beautiful parks.
