Chicago parents searching for inexpensive indoor fun during the icy cold of the month of Feburary 2014 can bring their sons and daughters by local Lakeshore Learning Stores on Saturdays for free craft activities. Between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., children ages 3 and up can receive for free all the supplies they need to make a creative themed craft. No reservations are required.

On Saturday, February 1, kids will learn how to make a fancy bookmark that they can use to mark their place while enjoying reading indoors during the cold Chicago winter months.

On Saturday, February 8, children can begin to prepare for Valentine's Day by building and decorating an adorable heart-shaped mailbox to hold all of their valentine cards.

On Saturday, February 15, boys and girls will decorate a picture frame with fun collage materials.

On Saturday, February 22, children will make and decorate a cute kid's jester hat that they can later use for imaginative pretend play.
