Oakland Cemetery is a wonderful place to visit any time. But when the Historic Oakland Foundation has a special event, it is even more wonderful.

On June 14, you can enjoy the beauty of the grounds and wander among the fascinating monuments and statuary while listening to great live music at Tunes from the Tombs.

Gates open at noon and the music begins at 1 pm with musicians performing on two stages and buskers performing all around the grounds. There will be jazz, rock, and Americana and more.

Performers will include Mudcat, Tribute: A Celebration of the Allman Brothers, Shawn Mullins, The Blacktop Rockets, and many more.

You can also take mini-tours of the cemetery during the festival free with admission.

Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available and food trucks will provide food.

Bring blankets and lawn chairs and come enjoy this unique and wonderful Atlanta tradition!

Tickets are $10 online or $15 at the gate and always $5 for kids. All proceeds benefit the Historic Oakland Foundation.
