Recently, I managed a trip to Tow, Texas, and visited the lovely Fall Creek Vineyards. There, I did a tasting of various wines, in addition to purchasing a number of bottles.
Wines are sold for a reasonable price, and are quite good.
The website notes their tasting room hours are:
Monday - Friday: 11 am - 4 pm
Saturday: 11 am - 5 pm
Sunday : noon - 4 pm
They carry a variety of flavors, ranging from dry to sweet, reds, whites and blushes. More informaiton about their wines can be found on their wine page.
Their website describes their terrain as follows: "Set in the lush Texas Hill Country and surrounded on all sides by vineyards, the Fall Creek winery is a stunning visual surprise. Designed by the architect in accordance with Susan Auler’s specifications, the 20,000 sq. ft. winery is a dramatic combination of the new and the old."
Many of their wines can be purchased at your local HEB, but I encourage anyone interested to visit the winery for the absorption of atmosphere and also a tasting.
Visit their website for directions and more information.
