Visitors to Disneyland, in March, will have the pleasure of visiting a few new attractions as the magical kingdom will be even more magical. Starting on March 12th three new additions are due to open in Fantasyland. The first, "Fantasy Faire" opens in the new Royal Hall where visitors can meet three Disney princesses in a storybook setting.
Next, in the Royal Theater at the new 'Fantasy Faire', guests can enjoy two new unique shows - "Beauty and the Beast" and "Tangled". Their story will be told by a pair of Renaissance Storytellers, Mr Smythe and Mr Jones; and appearing onstage with them will be Belle, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider to tell their own stories. The 15 - 20 minute show will be presented three times a day.
Visitors with a sweet tooth, will welcome the new 'Maurice Treats' opening in the new 'Fantasy Faire' section. This new food cart will have 'sweet twists, a savory cheddar garlic bagel twist, and Boysen Apple Freeze that will be served in a 16-ounce cup or a keepsake goblet.
The summer will see the reopening of the Fantasyland Theater, which just finished an extensive refurbishment. It will feature a new live show, "Mickey and the Magical Map", a spectacular entertainment about a wise sorcerer - 'YenSid', who tells the story about a wondorous map that has the power to take dreamers to any place imaginable. Of course there is a twist to the story when the young apprentice, Mickey Mouse, tries to paint the map's one unfinished spot and stumbles into a fantastic adventure and the discovery of the mystery of the map's magic.
