Visit a Dallas Museum for Free on Museum Day

Saturday, September 25, 2010 is Smithsonian Magazine’s 6th Annual Museum Day. Hundreds of museums participate in this family-friendly event every year. The Dallas Museum of Art is one of this year’s featured museums.

Last year, I took advantage of this free opportunity and visited a museum I had never been to. I was pleasantly surprised by the International Museum of Cultures in Dallas. Like many other participating museums, the International Museum of Cultures had special events happening throughout the day. The special programs made the visit twice as nice.

To find a participating museum in your area and to print your free admission ticket good for two free admissions, visit www.smithsonianmag.com.

Museum Day tickets are only good for two people per household, per address. For complete details visit Museum Day FAQ page.

Happy Museum Day!
