The secure browser while being a virtual browser is actually much more than just a virtual browser. It is more like a firewalled program inside a system inside a system. It begins with the virtual zone a separate system that is a container with highly defined parameters. The secure browser is a highly tuned browser that will literally let you control every single aspect of browser function often referred to as granular control.

The virtual browser is a façade of a browser in that it does not physically exist yet it resides within another system your OS. When the internet interacts with a virtual browser it is actually interacting with a duplicated structure of the real browser. Essentially your virtual browser would be seen by the internet and malicious people on the internet as your actual browser and would be able to interact with it as any normal physical software browser. As could a physical browser the virtual browser could be manipulated by a malicious user except that the virtual browser is erased each time it is closed and it does not have the connections to physical resources as your physically based browser does.

The secure browser portion of this system builds upon the virtualization by providing a granular level of control over browser functions. The secure browser will actually alert the user to the beginning of a possible malicious process or any process for that matter. The normal browser will just perform the process without alerting the user of its existence or anything inappropriate it may do. Unlike the normal average browser the secure browser dictates when and how the virtual browser will be used. The best part of all is that the user has awareness of security violations and it obviously helps users to avoid accessing malicious websites multiple times.

This sounds wonderful you may say. Where might a person obtain one of these? A company called Kace makes this wonderful piece of software. What could possibly be better than this piece of software actually existing? Kace offers a freeware version for all to utilize. The only difference between the free and the purchased is pretty much the administrative tools that come with a purchased system. The administrative tools are only intended for IT management purposes by organizations with multiple users.
