Though "Street Fighter IV" producer Yoshinori Ono has claimed there are no plans currently to bring the upcoming "Ultra Street Fighter IV" to Wii U (or PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), you can still get some classic "Street Fighter II" action for the Nintendo console via the eShop.
Between August 22nd and August 29th, if you purchase either "Street Fighter II: The World Warrior," "Turbo," or "Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers," you can purchase the other two for 50% off.
"Street Fighter II: The World Warrior" remains the grandfather of the fighting genre, helping to launch it to massive popularity in the 1990s that still continues to this day with the upcoming "Ultra Street Fighter IV." "Street Fighter II: Turbo" followed suit in 1992 and allowed players to play as the four Grand Masters (Balrog, Sagat, Vega, and M. Bison). "Super Street Fighter II" launched in 1993 and introduced then newcomers Cammy, T. Hawk, Fei Long, and Dee Jay.
