The Virginia Resource Advisory Committee announced its schedule of meetings for the upcoming winter. The committee recommends fees and funding policies for the Jefferson and George Washington national forests.

The committee meets Fridays from 10 am to 6 pm on the following dates: Dec. 6 and 13; Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31; plus Feb. 7. Meetings may be canceled, though.
They take place at the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests Supervisor's Office conference room, 5162 Valleypointe Pkwy., Roanoke, Virginia 24019.
The public is welcome to attend or submit written comments. If you wish to go, call 540-265-5100 for admittance to the building. People will be allowed to speak for up to three minutes each. Anyone wishing to address the committee should say so at least a week in advance.
