In the three weeks since it was first posted, the video entitled, "Choose Your Own Crime Stats" has gone viral and garnered more than one million hits.
Although an amateur production, the quality of the video is excellent and provides a well reasoned presentation of the pro-2nd Amendment argument. Even more importantly, the video does an expert job of dismantling the argument in favor of new gun control measures.
Rather than rely upon slogans and a call to heritage, the video reveals that crime has much more to do with poverty than with the availability of firearms.
The effect is devastating to those wishing to sway public opinion in favor of gun control.
And as the video explains at the end, “Improve the poverty level, create jobs, improve the educational system. That is how you are going to reduce crime in those neighborhoods. ”
