On Monday, we asked, in the context of the Southern Poverty Law Center conflating Constitutionalists with haters, if a video warning law enforcement to cue their behavior in citizen encounters off of bumper stickers could either chill free speech or endanger Americans expressing political sentiments. We followed up yesterday asking if video co-narrator/former ATF Special Agent in Charge James Cavanaugh was a credible SPLC spokesperson.
Here’s someone—a leading “respected” academic and activist who agrees with “Waco Jim” and the SPLC about the armed political right:
"It's racist, it's armed, it's hostile, it's unspeakable," she said. "White people armed, demanding an end to this president – it's very crazy-producing."
"She"?
The speaker is Bernadine Dohrn, “former” homegrown terrorist and current darling of the left as some sort of elder stateswoman/“social justice” pioneer. Drew Zahn of WorldNetDaily reminds us:
…Dohrn, who with her husband William Ayers were leaders of the communist revolutionary Weather Underground, had been tied to so many acts of protest violence in the '70s that she was placed on the FBI's Top 10 Most Wanted List and was described by J. Edgar Hoover as the "most dangerous woman in America."
And:
Her association with Barack Obama notably led to Sarah Palin's famous comment during the 2008 presidential campaign that Obama had been "palling around with terrorists."
Dohrn had this to say about those whose goal is to restore the Constitution, not burn it and replace it with the Communist Manifesto:
In the interview, Dohrn speculated, "If the left had a demonstration in Washington against Bush, armed – armed? openly armed? – demonstration of black people in Washington demanding an end to this statist government, imagine! Imagine! There would have been a massive bloodbath."
Still lying after all these years, eh sugar брюки? There was no openly armed demonstration in Washington. I know. I was there. Along with "black people". And I was also at the armed one across the Potomac in Virginia, where even the Brady Campaign’s Paul Helmke described participants as “polite”.
But Dohrn is right about one thing—leaders of the violent left would probably exploit their useful idiot followers to precipitate a bloodbath, because that’s what aparatchiks do.

His fawning attempts to clean up and normalize this subversive harridan notwithstanding, I’ve also included some key passages from an FBI report on her past activities in the slideshow, just to give evidence to the type of creature we're dealing with.
Among their observations (go ahead and click on that) of the type of comrade associated with and led by Dohrn et al.:
[It] is an excellent example of the native-born American who adopts the faith of an alien ideology and in behalf of his beliefs commits acts of armed violence, the purposes of which serve to acknowledge his revolutionary obligations to the international communist movement…
And this came up in their discussion of Bernadine’s husband and partner in hope and change, Obama mentor Bill Ayres:
The essence of the SDS strategy is to build a white para-military organization designed to carry out guerilla warfare in the urban areas of America—they are totally committed to revolution.
"White para-military" anti-government extremists? And they're not Glenn Beck fans?
And just to show you what a piece of s…uh…wonderful example of humanity this monst…uh, socially conscious community-organizing grandmother is, consider the following comments she offered on the Tate/LaBianca murders, as documented by Vincent Bugliosi in his exposé of the Manson family, Helter-Skelter:
"Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in pig Tate's belly. Wild!"
"Offing those rich pigs with their own forks and knives, and then eating a meal in the same room, far out! The Weathermen dig Charles Manson!" [Update: Here's an irony commentator "Defender" points out on The War on Guns: "Fans of Charles Manson. And what political symbol did Manson carve into his own forehead? A swastika. Symbol of the National Socialist Party of Germany, Nazi for short."--DC]
Just in case you were wondering who agrees with the SPLC’s and Waco Jim’s concerns about you being an armed conservative or libertarian… and about the type of company the fascist opposition keeps.
Beyond Bernadine…
We haven’t heard all from the left—the hits just keep on coming.
We’ve seen MSNBC in particular suck up to SPLC and help spread the conflation on more than one occasion, including smear jobs by Chris Matthews and Rachel Madc…uh..dow. Meet MSNBC anchor and avowed “socialist” Lawrence O’Donnell, who, like Ed Schultz is candid in his hatred for you and me being armed:
O'Donnell also revealed his agenda to "ban all guns in America."
And I’m not done. Long-time readers will recall when I was accused of “skating near the legal edge of making threats of violence” in my response to “progressive” cartoonist Ted Rall’s recommendation that “These town hall terrorists could be declared enemy combatants and bundled off to Bagram with the stroke of a pen. If ever there were a reason for suspending civil rights, this is it.”
Ted’s back and not pulling any punches. And again, MSNBC, via Dylan Ratigan's show this time, provides the platform for yet more SPLC talking points conflation:
Christian fundamentalists, the millennial end-of-the-worlders obsessed with the Left Behind series about the End Times, neo-Nazi racists, rural black-helicopter Michigan Militia types cut from the same inbred cloth as Timothy McVeigh, allied with “mainstream” gun nuts and right-wing Republicans, have been planning, preparing, and praying for the destruction of the “Godless,” “secular” United States for decades. In the past, they formed groups like the John Birch Society and the Aryan Nations. Now the hard Right has a postmodern, decentralized non-organization organization called the Tea Party.
And the questions Rall asks his fellow travelers?
A war is coming. At stake: our lives, the planet, freedom, living. The government, the corporations, and the extreme right are prepared to coalesce into an Axis of Evil. Are you going to fight back? Will you do whatever it takes, including taking up arms?
And we who believe unbendingly in the right of the people to keep and bear arms, and that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, are the haters, and the “anti-government extremists”…?

I always find it interesting to have a liberal condemn me for having guns and yet they will be the ones to bring up violence as a means of getting their point across. And they wonder why we tend to fear them and their crazy thinking. These are people who feel extreme violence justifies the end and nothing is going to change them. The really bad part is they are coming full circle to join up with the extreme right in order to destory America if they can. But just like the Japanese in World War II they cannot succeed because they fear too many private Americans are armed and will resist the killing squads sent to their neighborhoods to eliminate the "bad" folks so they can share in the spoils of a good hunt. These are very sick and evil people who have said and will use violence to achieve their goals but they do not want you armed and shooting back when they come to take your life. Have we not learned anything from the greatest murderers (Mao, Stalin, Hitler, etc) of this century. Never surrender the weapons that tend to make you equal to your enemies if you wish to secure the lives of yourself, your family, and neighbors.

Well, duh! They want US disarmed so we cannot resist THEM and their government guns! What they try not to think about is just how few of them there are and how MANY of us! Also, how many combat veterans who take their oath to protect and defend seriously!

the object is not to be provoked into a war on any level but to enforce the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as they were written no matter how inconvienent that may be for some liberal leftists. the ballot box is protected not by LEO or military cartridge boxes but those in the hands of the average everyday citizen who believes his rights are not to be redefined by politicians at any time. We are in a battle for the heart and souls of middle class America so let's fight a smart battle and win.
One little bit of historical trivia from Bill's and Bernadette's past. SDS, "The Students For Democratic Society", was a mostly peaceful group that staged mostly non-violent anti Viet Nam War protests on college campuses in the late1960's. A more radical subset of the group existed who advocated more violent tactics. At one of the more fractious meetings of the SDS movers and shakers, one of the more violent leaders advocated bombing an American elementary school. His point was that American's would never understand the Viet Nam War until American babies and children were in as much risk as those in Viet Nam. As a result of the following dispute between the two leadership factions, the violent radicals were expelled from the SDS and formed "Weather Underground". The group's name was taken from a Bob Dylan lyric: "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows."
The name of the young radical who proposed bombing the elementary school was Bill Ayres.
