Viola Davis is nominated for an Academy Award for her role as Abileen in The Help. The movie, which is also nominated for best picture, has had a fantastic year and introduced Viola Davis to an audience that would otherwise not have been graced by her acting abilities.
Now Viola Davis and Anna Wintour have been spotted together at the Vera Wang fashion show in New York City. Sitting front row, the actress and the editor-in-chief of Vogue were looking quite cozy while taking in the Mercedes Benz Fashion Show.
Earlier in February, Davis was photographed in a stunning spread for the L.A. Times magazine. While giving an interview to Andre Leon Talley, who is a contributing editor for Vogue, there was no mention of a cover. In what appeared to be a high fashion shoot, Davis was more than glamorous on the cover of the popular magazine.
If Anna Wintour and Viola Davis are hanging out together at fashion week, would it be safe to assume a Vogue cover is in the works for Davis? It is very possible and after a win at the Academy Awards this weekend it could become cemented. Wintour has often been spotted sitting front row with various contestants for a Vogue cover model, such as Nicky Minaj and Taylor Swift.
