Shows by Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac from 1968 and Billy Joel from 1990 will be available as free downloads for members this week at Concert Vault, a spokesman told Vintage Rock 'n' Roll Examiner Jan. 14.
The Fleetwood Mac concert, recorded at the Cue Club in Gothenburg, Sweden on Nov. 2, 1969, features the group's lineup at the time of Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwan, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. The superb set list, which features many songs from their “Then Play On” album, includes “Rattlesnake Shake,” “Underway,” “World in Harmony,” “Albatross,” “Oh Well” and “The Green Manalishi. (With the Two-Pronged Crown).” It will be available Jan. 15 through Jan. 17.
The Billy Joel show, recorded at Yankee Stadium on June 22, 1990, includes many of his hits, including “Allentown,” “We Didn't Start the Fire,” “Uptown Girl,” “It's Still Rock and Roll to Me,” “Only the Good Die Young” and “You May Be Right.” It will be available Jan. 18 through Jan. 21.
