The Folks at Bastone and Vinotecca in Royal Oak just announced their Valentine’s Day menu available February 14-17.
Choose from the following entrees:
Crab Cakes with pickled vegetables, arugula salad and chipotle aoli
Pear Salad – poached pears, organic greens, maytag blue cheese, hazelnut vinaigrette
Seasonal Vegetable Risotto – wild mushrooms, leeks, butternut squash puree, basil, manchego cheese
Pan Roasted Walleye –with mushrooms, sambuca, pancetta, saffron rice and seasonal vegetables
Hazelnut Seared Scallops—with tomato and red onion jam, smashed Yukon gold potato
NY Strip Loin – crispy pork belly, porcini and black truffle butter
Surf & Turf –twin medallions of beef with marinated Portobello, and pan roasted Alaskan halibut filet with grilled pineapple salsa, seasonal vegetables and roasted redskin potatoes.
For dessert, try the Banoffee pie—rum braised banana topped with caramel, or the
Swiss Cake Roll –white chocolate ganache, coconut porter ice gelato.
Vinotecca is conveniently located in downtown Royal Oak at 417 S. Main Street. Bastone is just next door, and their award winning craft beers are also available at Vinotecca.
