Vince Neil hospitalized for kidney stones

Vince Neil, frontman for Motley Crue, was rushed to the hospital on March 10. The hospitalization has caused the band to cut their concert short in Sydney, Australia. According to Huffington Post on March 10, Neil’s hospitalization was revealed on Twitter by his bandmates.

Nikki Sixx took to Twitter on Sunday saying Neil had been taken to the hospital for internal pain.

“Sorry Sydney for a short set tonight but Vince had to be rushed to the hospital for internal pain. Will update you on his progress.”

Mick Mars also took to Twitter saying Vince was taken to the hospital for kidney stones.

“Sydney, my apologies for a short set this evening. Vince had an attack of kidney stones. He went straight from stage to the hospital.”

Neil experienced severe pain on Sunday only five minutes before show time. Neil was advised to not even play, but he felt he could not do that to his fans.

Neil was only stage for four songs before he finally gave up and walked off stage. Neil was rushed to the hospital and had surgery for kidney stones Sunday evening.

The next show on the Australian tour is in Brisbane on Tuesday. As of right now the concert is still scheduled to go on.

Vince Neil has played through many injuries throughout his career, but this was one he could not perform through. Vince definitely tried though. Fans hope he will recover quickly and get back on stage doing what he loves with Motley Crue.
