Movie fans are waiting for "Fast and Furious 7" to arrive in theaters, and now they are being shown the set at the start of production from the star of the film. On Saturday, Sept. 21, Vin Diesel shared a photo on his Facebook page from the Atlanta set of the film. Digital Spy also shared a new video from the set showing off the actor as well. During the short video, he thanks fans of the film franchise for their continued support. Check out the new photo from the set on the sidebar.
The main cast of the film appear somber in this new set photo. They are mourning the loss of one of their own during the opening moments of the film. Han was killed in a scene at the end of "Fast and Furious 6." The new photo shows Diesel with Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris. The video with Diesel was taken during the first day of filming before cameras began to role on the first scene. The set featured in the photo is in the background.
Production on the new film started earlier this month. The actor revealed that the cast was starting on their third week of filming when he shared the photo on his Facebook. James Wan is the man behind the camera for this seventh film in the franchise, and the film will see the return of Lucas Black. He was seen in the third film of the franchise, which also introduced Han's character. Han's friends will deal with a new villain during this film as they try to revenge his death.
Scottsdale residents will be able to see this film at the Harkins Scottsdale Fashion Square 7 or at another local theater in the area once it is released next summer.
