Villopoto grabs win at Dallas Supercross

The Supercross season continued Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium, in Arlington, TX. Going into this race, Davi Millsaps (Rockstar Energy Suzuki) was leading the points for the 450SX with 132, over Ryan Dungey (Red Bull KTM) at 113, followed by Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki) at 105.

Millsaps has been riding very consistently this season, while Villopoto hasn't been. Even though Villopoto is the defending Supercross champ, he's been very inconsistent, however when he's got it, he's got it and showed himself to be the fastest guy on the track in this round. During the main event, Villopoto and Millsaps started out even, but by turn 2 Villopoto pulled ahead. He pulled away from the rest of the pack, and finished ahead of Millsaps. Ryan Dungey finished third. Millsaps still retains his point leader status with 154 to Ryan Dungey's 133, followed by Villopoto's 130.

The next race takes place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA on February 23rd.
