Mike Wallace, Wes Welker, and now Greg Jennings. Big name receivers are switching teams left and right.
The Vikings have a new No.1 Receiver, and they are taking him from a hated rival.
Adam Schefter reports that Friday evening the Vikings agreed to terms with wideout Greg Jennings have agreed to a five-year contract.
Jennings is the top wide receiver available at this time. The 29-year-old receiver caught 36 passes for 366 yards and four TDs last year in an injury riddled 2012. He missed 11 games in the last two season but exceeded 1,100 yards receiving in 2008-2010.
Jennings will give Minnesota a go-to wide receiving threat they desparately need after Percy Harvin bolted for seattle earlier this week. The addition will be well-received by Christian ponder who now has a high-priced backup in Matt Cassel to keep him on his toes.
This addition by the vikings definately will add to the Packers-Vikings rivalry. Another level of excitement will be added to the next meeting between to two teams.
