The 59-year-old Rhode Island native has been married to Richard M. Cohen since 1986. The couple has three children. She began her game show career as a celebrity contestant on "Millionaire" when it was still hosted by Philbin. She won $250,000 for her charity and went on to host the show.
Vieira is leaving "Millionaire," but her 14th season has already been taped. She finalized the taping of the show in November 2012.
