Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig worked well together presenting at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. The two were on stage revealing a big category to the live audience. Sharing the detail that the show asks that the presenters watch the movies, the two revealed it was no big deal and implied they did watch. However, the comedic moment from the stage was the exact opposite.
Describing the nominated movies along with the actress it was supposed to be a very important Golden Globe moment, but the two carried on about the shows revealing little to nothing outside the titles of the films. Carrying on and talking over each other it was a funny presentation that reminded everyone that doing homework prior to a big show might be a good idea.
Of course the entire segment was a joke. Well, not the award portion, but definitely the introduction. Giving the fans a reason to watch, the two former Saturday Night Live cast members shared a good laugh while still keeping the show moving.
