The weather forecast is cold, cold, cold nationwide for the weekend. While much of the nation has experienced cold temperatures over the past few days, and many cities are expecting even colder weather this weekend.

Mountain snow is expected in the western areas of Washington, Oregon and northern California. Utah expects afternoon sun Saturday and Sunday, with high temperatures in the mid-30s. Snow isn’t expected in Utah until next Wednesday.

Much of the Midwest is expected to be dry over the weekend. The north central states expect minus teens to near minus 30 degrees Saturday, and temperatures on Sunday will begin to warm up.

Missouri and Mississippi Rivers are expected temperatures in the teens and lower 20s. While the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley will have almost freezing weather for the weekend. South Dakota to Kansas is expecting 30s and 40 degree temperatures.

The north east is expecting more snow and shower Saturday, and less on Sunday, east of the mountain will be dry, according to Weather.com.

New York and northern New England are expected below 0 temperatures by Sunday morning. Southeastern Virginia will experience near freezing weather.

Much of the south will be dry and cold this weekend, with central and south Florida expecting some showers. Miami will get close to freezing temperatures, while Key West will be in the 40s. Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee and western Carolinas are expecting teens and 20 degree temperatures; with afternoon highs in the 30s by Sunday.
