(Video) UFC President calls Mayweather a ‘knucklehead’ and a ‘racist’

Las Vegas--If UFC President Dana White is giving you advice on when to keep your mouth shut, and stick to the business at hand, perhaps you should listen.

After all, White is one of the most notoriously outspoken individuals in sports today.  No one is safe from The President when he has something to say; and now we can add boxing lightning rod, Floyd Mayweather to the list of Dana’s victims.

Earlier in the week, White did a spot on Fuel TV for the upcoming UFC 144 card happening this Saturday in Japan.  When asked about Mayweather, White responded with a  scathing verbal beat down to “Money.”

“First of all, what (Mayweather) said, I think, is racist,” said White in reference to Floyd’s comments about the New York Knicks’ Jeremy Lin. “He made a couple of racist comments and, yes Floyd, you’re racist with the stuff that you said.”

In the video, White goes on to give his thoughts on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather super-fight that has been on the table for years, saying, “Just get it done.”

Both Mayweather and White have had their fair share of public outbursts that have been surrounded by controversy.  Most infamously, the UFC President had a homophobic and anger filled tirade directed at Sports Illustrated’s Loretta Hunt.  A tirade that left White on the bad side of many in the sports world.  However, White did apologize and has since curtailed his sharp tongue.

That’s more that we can say for Floyd.  Not only are his comments on Lin extremely troubling, but Floyd, not too long ago, when asked about Manny Pacquiao had said he needs to “go back home and make some sushi.”  And as Dana points out in this video, “Sushi is from Japan.  Pacquiao is from the Philippines, knucklehead.”

Something tells me this is far from over.
