The Wanted came back a year after first performing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and thanked the star. Giving the guys their first big break on television, it opened up some wonderful opportunities in America and kicked off what has been a remarkable journey in only 365 days. On Friday the guys arrived on stage with bouquets of flowers and kind words to thank the star personally.
The surprise visit actually highlighted another milestone too. The Wanted received their first award on Wednesday night at the People’s Choice Awards. As Ellen won a whopping 13th time, the entertainer understood the excitement the guys had for their first win, especially after picking it up on stage in front of a live audience.
While The Wanted had a moment to thank Ellen DeGeneres, the guys are now looking to head home to make new music. The entertainers are expected to have a new album out by summer and then more touring to sing for the fans. With so much going on, the gesture of stopping by the Ellen DeGeneres Show is extra special.
