CeeLo Green faced a Los Angeles judge yesterday; pleading not guilty to charges he drugged a woman with ecstasy, without her consent. CNN video shows CeeLo Green at his arraignment in a Los Angeles court room, with attorneys Blair Berk and Thomas P. O'Brien. According to the alleged victim, known only as Anna M., she and CeeLo Green went out to dinner around July 13, 2012. The two returned to his hotel room, and according to her statement, the two were intimate.
No rape charges were filed against Green, due to what police say was "insufficient evidence," but he was charged with drugging her, without her consent.
According to ABC News, CeeLo denies the charges, and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment. His attorney further stated that the charges were:
false and unfounded,
adding that anything Anna M. did that night with CeeLo Green was consensual.
