Video tells how Legoland Florida works with Lego Group to bring Chima to life

The World of Chima is going to be a new area at Legoland Florida that opens in July, but it's also an extremely popular line of Lego toys. Since their release in January, the toys have captured children's imaginations, making Chima a perfect choice for this major expansion at the park.

Many people don't realize that Legoland Florida is not directly a part of the Lego Group. It's owned by Merlin Entertainments, but the two companies still work together very closely. Click the video toward the bottom of this article to hear from Brian Bowler of the Lego Group. He talks about what it's like for the Legend of Chima to come alive at Legoland Florida, giving young (and old) fans the chance to experience the world firsthand.

When the expansion is done, it will feature impressive sights like the Lion Temple as its entryway, and guests will go through various animal territories like the Rhino Quarry, Raven's Roost, Eagle's Nest, Wolves Encampment, Gorilla Forest, and Crocodile Swamp. The boat ride will take them on their very own quest for CHI.
