Taylor Swift was on Saturday Night Live (SNL) last night and proved to be a worthy host. She's created an internet buzz this morning because everyone wants to see how she did.
Taylor Swift started her monologue by saying that usually when she is nervous she writes a song about it, so she grabbed her guitar and sang what she called her Monologue Song (La, La, La). The Monologue Song included a verse about her x-boyfriend who broke up with her over the phone (Hi Joe…I’m doing well), and a cheating x-boyfriend, and the fact that she is dating one of the characters from the Twilight series. She ended the song with a joke about having bodyguards up on the stage ever since the whole Kanye West ordeal the VMAs.
