Krumper Russell Ferguson is the Season 6 winner of So You Think You Can Dance!

When the 20-year-old Boston native was handed his honors he said: "This means everything to me".

Cat Deeley had to peel Ferguson off the floor as the wave of emotion swept the stage.

"I've been dreaming of this since I was born, and I thank the judges so much for their criticism and they made me better as a dancer."

The finale presented two choices for the Seasons 6 winner of SYTYCD and the other mate in the run was contemporary dancer Jakob Karr who has been called "outstandingly brilliant" by the judges.

Judge Nigel Lythgoe said before the winner was announced "America has supported a truly polished diamond in Jakob and an unpolished diamond in Russell. Each one brings something really special to the competition."

Contemporary dancer Kathryn McCormick was the last female standing and husband and wife couple Ashleigh and Ryan Li Dello went out in fifth and sixth place consecutively. In the middle of them all in fourth place was contemporary dancer Ellenore Scott.

Performers Jennifer Lopez, Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis rocked the stage with stunning song acts and don't worry Lambert fans...he was fabulous and he behaved.

Ferguson has been dancing for 20 years and the Boston-based, 20-year-old Krumper says he gets his motivation from "his parents" from from "God". Since he was six years old, Ferguson began dancing professionally and spent five years in formal training at Boston Art Academy High School.
