When Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin opens at SeaWorld Orlando on May 24, it will be a one of a kind attraction. The vehicles, which were revealed at the 2012 IAAPA industry trade show, have capabilities never seen before on any ride at any park.
As you can see in the video toward the bottom of this article, the ride vehicles for this new SeaWorld Orlando attraction can move in any direction. Their path is totally fluid and changes from ride to ride, meaning you can have a different experience each time you hope aboard. You can also see the other vehicles moving around in the ride space.
The vehicle cabins have a wide range of motion, enhancing the ride experience. They move and rock to make sure you're full engrossed in the storyline.
The story is a big part of this new SeaWorld Orlando attraction. It focuses on the lead character, Puck, a precocious young penguin who shows you what it's like to live in his world. If you'd like to "meet" Puck, check out this article, which has a video that talks about he and the other penguins were animated.
