Earlier this week EA released the Battlefield 4 BETA to the public. With it, players everywhere get to experience the title on the three platforms currently available to the public; the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. With the obvious exclusion of the next generation platforms (Xbox One, PlayStation 4), information regarding how Battlefield 4 plays on said next-generation console's is still unknown outside of feed back from gamers who played at various game conference

Today, a user on the massively popular NeoGaf gaming forum posted their first impressions of Battlefield 4 on the Xbox One. Rather skewed in its overall negativity, it reeks of fanboy-ism. What can't be denied, however, is the video that came along with impression. In it, it showcased the massive input lag the title seems to be suffering from on the Xbox One.

Although it's easy to assume this is simply an issue with the pre-production title, players need not forget the input lag issue on the PlayStation 3 version of Battlefield 3 that took Dice nearly a year to button down. Be sure to check out the video for yourself here.

This is a huge issue, and can only hope Dice can figure out a solution sooner rather than later. Yes, there are several factors here (TV input lag, pre-release hardware, pre-release build), but as mentioned before, history says otherwise in regards to this being a developer issue in the past.
