At the recent Halloween Horror Nights media event at Universal Orlando Resort, attendees were treated to a full description of the event by Mike Aiello, Assistant Director of Creative Development for Art and Design. He discussed all eight of the houses you'll see this year, along with the street experience that centers on The Walking Dead and adds new elements, like a walk-through barn.

The houses are a mix of intellectual properties, including movies, TV, and video games, and original ideas. Two of the originals are spins on previous houses: La Lllorona is inspired by the Hollywood version, but with its own twist on the ending and set design that will rival Nevermore: The Madness of Poe, and Havoc Derailed is a sequel to the fan favorite Havoc Dogs of War house (yes, the scareactors are shaving their heads again).
