When Legoland Florida announced the World of Chima to the media, it made sure that everyone got to see the construction site where this new land is slowly but surely rising. General Manager Adrian Jones talked at the site and fielded a number of questions. Click the video toward the end of this article to see what he had to say.
While the World of Chima has lots of kids excited, the project is good for adults, too. The construction has created nearly 150 jobs, 85 percent of which are filled by Central Floridians. Once the area opens in July, it will mean 50 new jobs to support its ongoing operation.
Young fans don't think about Legoland Florida's positive impact on the Florida economy. They're just thrilled that they'll soon get the chance to meet Cragger the Crocodile King and Laval the Lion Prince in person, race Speedorz in the Speedorz Arena, see a new 4D movie, and embark on a boat adventure on a quest for CHI.
Although the exact opening date hasn't been announced yet, July puts the World of Chima's debut squarely in the middle of the busy summer season.
