When Aquatica, SeaWorld Orlando's water park, celebrated its 5th anniversary on March 1, 2013, a huge crowd of guests was on hand to join in the celebration, as you can see in the video toward the bottom of this article.
Aquatica vice-president Bryan Nadeau talked about the park's first years and introduced some animal ambassadors after some introductory tunes and dancing. Guests crowded around as he drew raffle tickets for an impressive parade of prizes, including VIP ticket and cabana packages.
The impressive anniversary cake stole the show. It featured a water slide with riders on inner tubes, although they soon disappeared under the knife as the hungry crowd gathered round for a taste.
Aquatica is open all year 'round, temperature permitting, and the heated water means hearty souls can enjoy the park even on cooler days.
The park's Tampa sister, Adventure Island, shuts down for the winter but reopens on March 9. Check out this article on the park's 2013 season kickoff.
