Sesame Street is celebrating a big milestone on YouTube in March. The Children’s Television Workshop has acquired over one billion YouTube views with all of their video on the channel. Looking to acknowledge the moment on Wednesday, Count Von Count released a special video counting up all the viewers and offering up a fun little song.
“Thank you for viewing our Sesame Street videos over ONE BILLION times and helping us become the first nonprofit organization to reach this milestone!” wrote Sesame Street on the official YouTube channel. “Count Von Count is very excited about this achievement, so he put together this song for YOU.”
Taking on the task of counting to one billion Count Von Count made the counting quite charming. Showing all the different people who were looking at the videos online, the segment reminded everyone just how many people make up a billion views. It was a perfect learning lesson and celebration for fans who wanted to celebrate with Sesame Street.
