Season 9 of American Idol premieres Tuesday and Wednesday on Fox. Season 9 of American Idol has a new host Ellen DeGeneres, who will join and Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Kara DioGuardi. The ‘net buzz on this story is hot because the show premieres tonight, and people want to see the new season and how Ellen fits in with the other judges. This will be Simon Cowell's last season on American Idol.
The Season 9 of American Idol auditions were performed in the following cities: Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Orlando and Denver.
Ellen DeGeneres replaces Paula Abdul who left last year. Ellen has mentioned many times on her show, The Ellen Show that she is a huge American Idol fan. Many people think that she will be able to bring a balance to the judges because she gets along with all of them, including Simon.
