Video: Savannah Guthrie jumps out of her chair on ‘Ellen’ after she meets a frog

Savannah Guthrie definitely had a scare on Monday. The Today show host is very afraid of frogs and unfortunately the world knows. Even worse, Ellen DeGeneres knew too. The talk show host hoped to help Savannah Guthrie's phobia of frogs by showing how the small creatures could be kind. However, segment appeared not to go as planned as the frog was fake but Savannah didn't know and out of her chair when Ellen put the rubber frog on her lap.

“Oh god no,” said Savannah Guthrie on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. She was behind the chairs on set and rushing to get away from the fake frog. “Please no I'm serious. I don't understand it either. I am going to go to therapy.”

Ellen DeGeneres couldn't stop laughing and finally admitted the frog was fake which helped Savannah return to her chair. It didn't stop her from getting as far away as possible from the rubber creature as it looked real and wiggled like a real frog too.

Take a look at the video clip of Savannah Guthrie rushing away from the frog on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. As everyone had a fear, it was completely understandable to see the Savannah’s response.
