Video: Rixton talks touring and performing on 'So You Think You Can Dance'

The band Rixton performed on the So You Think You Can Dance on Wednesday, August 20th. The band is headlining their first US tour performing two sold out shows in LA on August 23rd and 24th at The El Rey Theatre.

Rixton recently released their debut EP "Me And My Broken Heart" featuring their platinum selling single of the same title. The single charted at the Top 10 at Pop radio and ranks as a No. 1 Most Shazam-ed new track in the U.S.A. Their official video has racked up over 17 million views on YouTube/VEVO. The band has recently performaned on The Voice, Ellen, and The Today Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers and more. Rixton has also been featured as an MTV 2014 “Artist To Watch” and a VEVO LIFT artist, and recently released their follow up single “Wait On Me.” Rixton is currenty touring the US on their headline “Broken Heart” tour performing sold out shows across the country.

Rixton is from Manchester and includes members Jake Roche, (vocals/rhythm guitar), Danny Wilkin (bass/keys), Charley Bagnall (lead guitar), and Lewi Morgan, (drums). They name Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars as their influences. They are currently working on a pop/rock/R&B album, songwriting with Working with Grammy-winning producer Benny Blanco.

Rixton is set to release their debut album on School Boy/Giant Little Man/Mad Love/Interscope Records this fall.
