I knew something serious was going on as I just drove down I-77 North, trying to veer right onto I-480 East to drive across that beautiful Valley View Bridge scenic route to make it to church for my "midweek fill up" of Bible study.
Alas, there were two black cop cars straddling the I-480 East lanes, and as I prayed that the cars in front of me wouldn't collide with me as we all went toward the only open I-480 West-bound open route, I feared there was an accident or something that they were blocking any cars from pulling up behind.
As I traveled west, away from where I wanted to go, I saw that plenty of the 480 eastbound lanes were being blocked, and that 480-East was eerily void of any cars.
I eventually got off and made my way to Snow Road (I'm not from Cleveland) and made my way back home to Akron to try and Google around to find out what's going on.

Thank God for Twitter, which is how I found out what was going on.
CLEVELAND-AREA TWITTERERS TWEET ABOUT PRESIDENT OBAMA'S ARRIVAL
"So Obama riding through East side of Cleveland, why my friend throw a snowball at the car.. and he smiled !!!" tweeted Toya Nicole.
"The police are on every street corner from 131st off union all through Garfield because Obama in our city, Cleveland," wrote Naydia Lovine.
"Obama got 131st blocked off can't believe he in Cleveland ridein dwn 131st wow," tweeted another.
"Obama shutting Cleveland dwn lol," tweeted Jessie.
Yes, this is the second time this reporter has been this close to President Obama -- that I know of. Another time when Obama was riding to Chicago and we were headed to Ohio, my family and I saw a boatload of police cars coming the other direction, and then the huge bus carrying our Commander in Chief.
Of course they don't let any other cars ride anywhere near his brigade.
And it makes sense that President Obama would've landed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and made his way across 480 East on his way to Shaker Heights.
Now we know what's going on!
