Jimmy Fallon had Howard Stern singing on Tuesday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast with his cover of 'Pants on the Ground' in the style of Neil Young.
Jimmy Fallon hopped on the 'Pants on the Ground' bandwagon on Thursday night's episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, but rather than just sponging off of General Larry Platt's infectious tune, Fallon elevated the viral video hit to a new level of artform: parody. Jimmy Fallon performed 'Pants on the Ground' in the style of folk singer Neil Young, with a dead-on, haunting impression.
Howard Stern said that he wrote Jimmy Fallon a personal e-mail to let him know how hysterically funny he found Neil Young's 'Pants on the Ground'.
Jimmy Fallon's 'Pants on the Ground' remake was so hilarious that it prompted Howard Stern to suggest the ultimate solution to the current late night talk show wars: give The Tonight Show to the genius Jimmy Fallon.
