On Saturday, a snowball fight was twittered and sent out on Facebook and scheduled in Washington DC Saturday afternoon, and 200 people showed up to play. It was suppose to be a friendly neighborhood snowball fight.
A Hummer was passing by and was hit with snowballs, the driver who was an undercover cop, jumped out of his truck with a gun drawn (see video below).
Some people panicked and ran away when they saw a gun. The police were called, because the man never identified himself as an undercover police officer. When the police arrived, and it was discovered that he was an undercover cop, the crowd became angry and demanded to know his name. The local police station received several complaints and the officer has been placed on desk duty pending investigation.
Monday, Washington DC Metro Police Chief Cathy Lanier said that she reviewed all of the video footage and it is clear that the officer did draw his gun.
"I have no doubt about this, nor has the officer denied the accusations," she said. "Let me be very clear in stating that I believe the actions of the officer were totally inappropriate! In no way, should he have handled the situation in this manner."

Desk duty? That son of a b*tch needs to be FIRED and criminally charged. This is ANOTHER example of why people despise cops.
