On August 8, Glover agreed to watch the miniature Dachshund named Athena, however when the family returned, Glover told them the dog had run away.

A surveillance video, however tells a different and distressing story. Glover is seen beating the dog with his hands and then the dog is seen running away. Glover goes after the dog, and is then seen carrying the defenseless little pooch back inside of the house by the scruff of her neck.

Later in the video, Glover is seen carrying what appears to be the lifeless body of the dog and returns later without the dog. Athena has not been found.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, Glover has been charged with four counts of felony animal cruelty and one count of tampering with evidence.

The video is very graphic and may not be suitable for all audiences.
