The news business is fierce with the first being the best. Suffice to say that the President Obama is keen that everyone is looking for the first interview with him, even if that means screaming during a presidential parade. On Monday, the news anchors were out in full force trying to attract the Commander-in-Chief, but neither Al Roker or Wolf Blitzer could get President Obama to stop and talk. .
“Mr. President! Mr. President! Mr. President! How’s it going?” yelled Al Roker at the man who was newly elected. Wolf Blitzer had the same type of request, but he was in a very nice sky box station directly above Roker, but it appeared the President didn't hear him.
While both NBC and CNN didn't really expect to get the first interview, Al Roker did get the attention of the President who told him the weather was “fantastic” and gave the newsman a thumbs up gesture. The moment was absolutely hysterical as Al Roker was over the top loud and definitely demanding attention even though he knew it was impossible to get a moment with the elected official.
Take a look at the video clip of Al Roker trying to get the President’s attention during the presidential parade.
