A nanny caught on camera slapping a child she was being paid to watch and care for has been arrested. And now, the video of the abuse has gone viral online.
The nanny in question, Mamura Nasirova, was caught on camera slapping the five-month-old baby thanks to a hidden video camera. The camera was hidden inside a carbon monoxide detector. The mother of the child had grown concerned that something was going on between her child and their nanny, so she hid a camera in the home to catch any bad behavior.
Fortunately (or unfortunately), the mother’s intuition was allegedly justified.
In the video, which you can watch within this article, the nanny can be seen hitting the young child hard in the face repeatedly. While there’s no sound, it appears the 5-month-old is crying.
The nanny then grabs the child from her stationary seat and walks out of the frame.
On February 1st, the parents of the baby filed a police report. Days later, the nanny was arrested.
Nasirova will be charged with endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest. For more on this story, visit the Daily Mail.
