Nancy Garrido who once held Jaycee Dugard hostage for four months while Phillip Garrido was in jail, is now claiming that she tried to set her free more than once. Nancy Garrido states that she will testify against her husband, said a source who told the National Enquirer. The police have stated that Nancy was actually the one who kidnapped Jaycee Dugard from the street in 1991.
In early September, Nancy Garrido’s attorney believes that her state of mind may come into question. “She’s distraught. She’s scared. She seems to be a little lost,” Gilbert Maines told The Today Show Meredith Vieira. “She doesn’t seem to be able to really focus well at the moment.” Scroll down for the video that contains the whole interview.
Phillip and Nancy Garrido are accused of kidnapping Dugard in 1991, and holding her hostage for 18 years, they are both in jail. Jaycee Dugard, who is now 29 years old had 2 children by Phillip Garrido who are now 15 and 11 years old.
The Jaycee Dugard kidnapping is similar to the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping in that both were held hostage for an extended period of time and found alive. Elizabeth Smart testified against her kidnapper Brian David Mitchell on October 1, 2009. Smart testified that she was raped 3 or 4 times a day, and tied to a pole by Mitchell and his wife. Yeah right she tried to free her and California is debt free and has no unemployment, Santa Clause is real and spends spring with the Easter Bunny. We have seen this before where the wife says they are scared and cannot help the victim. She was not scared. She even had a job. She had family. SHE MADE A CHOICE. SHE WANTED JAYCEE'S CHILDREN. THAT WAS HER BARGIN WITH PHILLIP. First she helps kidnap the girl, taking away a life Jaycee could of had, then she steals the children of Jaycee, and basically ruining their chance of a normal life. We are talking harm to three lives not just one.
What she doesn't want is jail time. Personally I hope she gets at least 18 years in solitary. At least she is not being raped and brutalized like she allowed Jaycee to be.
Nope I have no pity for Nancy. You made your bed lady, now lay in it.
A woman who married a convicted rapist, grabbed a child off the street, let her perverted husband rape the child and keep her in a rubbish dump doesn't know what love is. She is a criminal. Nothing else.
If you do the crime. Do the time. Now go away.
Next they will expect us to believe it was like living with The Waltons!
