The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards took place Sunday night (August 25th) at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. All week long rumors were on line that the boy band 'N Sync would reunite on stage during a schedule performance by Justin Timberlake.
No confirmations were given by showtime, but it had became the worst kept secret. Timberlake performed a 16 minute performance that including a medley of his hits from "Sexy Back", "My Love", and "Senorita" to name a few. Timberlake moved from various stages of the arena backed with a full band and 24 back up dancers. After a quick routine of Timberlake dancing onstage with a few female dancers, he faded off one stage and appeared on the next. Shortly after the members of 'N Sync: JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone appeared on stage with Timberlake. The group performed brief routine of their hits songs "Girlfriend" and "Bye, Bye, Bye" along with the dance moves.
Timberlake then continued his performance solo before receiving The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award presented to him by Jimmy Fallon. "I don't deserve this award, but I 'm not giving it back, a humble Timberlake receiving the award. He thanked his folks, his longtime manager Johnny Wright and the members of 'N Sync by stating "Half of the moon men that I've ever won I won with those four guys right there."
Timberlake ended up winning the most awards with four which also included Best Direction for "Suit & Tie", Best Editing and Video of the Year for "Mirrors".

Timberlake will release the second half of The 20/20 Experience, "The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2", album on September 30th.
