Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps weighs in on Tiger Woods' affair scandals saying he's "never made the same mistake" twice.

Tiger Woods' current update includes 15 women linked to the golf legend, a divorce in the works, allegations of sexual addiction and a recent crowning of Athlete of the Decade - An award swimmer for which Michael Phelps came in fourth.

Phelps scored a record-setting eight gold medals in the 2008 Olympics and had his own PR spill in early January of this year when the medalist got caught smoking weed via a cell phone picture taken of the celebrity athlete.

"I'd be the first to admit I've made a lot of mistakes both in and out of the pool," Phelps said. "But of the mistakes I've made I've never made the same mistake again. I've become a much stronger person, and I've helped other people not make the same mistakes."

On Tiger's situation, Phelps spoke athlete to athlete. "I think he’s going through a hard time now," Phelps told RadarOnline.com. "I assume, and it can't be easy. You see who your actual friends are and who supports you. I will say I'm wishing the best for him and his family at a time like this."
